UOttawa Residences

Rate code: BSD2024UO (code expires 2024-Apr-15, valid only for the nights of May 28-Jun 01, based on availability only. If your stay includes nights outside these dates, they won't recognize the code--you'll need to tell the registration person about the valid nights)

Availability may vary considerably this year, you may see rooms in Rideau and/or 90U Residences. Rideau is about the same distance to the venue, but is a hotel-style room with two double beds, not a suite like 90U. BSDCan sometimes has a room or two remaining just before the conference starts - email info@bsdcan.org to ask.

• Rideau Residence double room: $141/night ($159.33 after taxes), up to 4 person occupancy (if you are all very good friends!)
• RATE AVAILABLE ONLY UNTIL APRIL 15. Rate code is only valid for bookings on the nights of May 27 to Jun 2, 2024 (inclusive).
• If there's any availability after the cutoff date, or for any other nights before or after, you will get the prevailing rate if any rooms are available.
  
• Other residence buildings exist, and MAY have availability - call Housing Services (see below) for more information.
• No parking exists at Rideau Residence - multiple paid parking lots exist nearby.
• If you need an Accessible room (wheelchair users, other disabilities), contact Housing Services by telephone (see below).

Other Nearby Hotels

There are numerous hotels, small and large, within walking distance of uOttawa. No group rates have been negotiated with any of these at the moment. (If we do, they'll appear above, this page.) Note that if you're selecting a hotel on the west side of the canal, you can cross on foot using the Corktown Foot Bridge at the end of Somerset St. W. in addition to the vehicle bridges further north.

There is very little parking at or near the conference venue, but major public transit lines run alongside or very near the venue.
